- Taste of Chile in Yaroslavl
On April 8-9 the Chile delegation headed by the His Excellency Ambassador and the Plenipotentiary Minister, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Chile to the Russian Federation José Campusano Alarcón took part in “The Day of Chile in the Yaroslavl Region”.
Setting close contacts with Moscow, the representatives of the Republic of Chile decided to improve the relations with the Russian regions. The Yaroslavl region was chosen as one of the first destinations. The matter of visit was not only the economical, but also cultural and tourist cooperation between two countries.
“We want to present you not just our production, but our gastronomic culture”, - noticed His Excellency Ambassador.
The event agenda included: the meeting with the deputy Prime-Minister of the Yaroslavl Region Shilov A.N.; the press conference for the regional media; the round table for the business representatives of the Yaroslavl region. The Plenipotentiary Minister, Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Chile to the Russian Federation José Campusano Alarcón conducted for the round table participants the presentation concerning questions of export from the Republic of Chile. In frames of the meeting there was a mini-exhibition of products and wines from Chile. The Chile delegation visited the retail chains and boutiques and was able to find out that the Chile production is well-presented and is of great demand of retailers and ultimate consumers.
The Dinner “Open Your Taste of Chile” in the “Vanilnoe nebo” in Yaroslavl became the final part of the event program.
The dishes of the Chile cuisine masterly cocked by the restaurant’s chef were served in matching to Chile wines. For example, the dinner guests tasted mussels with wine sauce matching to the white dry wine Aves del Sur Central Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2015.
