Gastronomic dinner “Once upon a time in Monaco”

Representatives of princedom Monaco in cooperation with the International Centre of Wine and Gastronomy organized an evening in James Bond style in Moscow restaurant Nobu. A rich cultural and gastronomic program was expected by the guests.

Entire variety of Japanese cuisine was represented on the dinner. Exquisite black cod made a great gastronomic couple with white wine Chardonnay Salmon Greek (California). And beef with teriyaki and anticucho sauce was served in combination with spicy Californian wine Zinfandel Cline 2010.

Exclusive offer of the evening was the author’s dish – scallops with foie gras and vanilla miso sauce, made by specially arrived chef from Monaco – Jerome Lorvellec. For the desert the guests treated themselves with specialty of the house Nobu cheesecake and Japanese ice-cream Motchi.

Along with the gastronomic delicacies the guests were offered to participate in fascinating quizzes and thematic “card” games, just like in a real casino. The main prizes of the quiz were the certificates for two night’s free accommodation in hotels of Monaco and round helicopter transfer from Nice airport to Monaco.

And the pleasant addition to the elegant evening became the jazz band “Elena et les garcons” (Helen and guys).

For memory each guest had an opportunity to take their collective photos with “James Bond” and his girlfriend.
