On 17th of December 2013 on the initiative of the Ambassador of Colombia in Russia His Excellency Rafael Francisco Amador Campos the pre-Christmas gastronomic dinner took place.
The event went according to the specially created by the International Centre of Wine and Gastronomy (ICWAG). The moderator of the dinner was the president of ICWAG – Mr. Leonid Gelibterman.
The program of the author’s dinner included the main course made by Chef Gabriel Algarin – Cazuela Caribe (with seafood) and mashed Creole potatoes. The famous chef has been working in Moscow for years, however not everyone is aware of the privilege he managed to get in 1987. The restaurant in the Intercontinental hotel where he used to work was an often visited place by the Nobel Prize winner, writer Gabriel Garcia Marques.
After presenting the main course the chef with great pleasure made photos with the Ambassador’s guests. The representatives of the leading mass media who were also invited to the dinner had a chance to reveal new sides of the Colombian culture. And as a memory Gabriel Algarin signed menus for the guests.
